How to choose the right diagnostic tool?
The OBD2 port is standardized on most vehicles (petrol since 2001, diesel since 2004). A Bluetooth or Wi-Fi interface reads and clears fault codes and displays real-time motor data via an app. Check that it is multi-brand and compatible with the app you intend to use. ECU remapping tools (chip tuning) modify the motor mapping: powerful but reserved for experienced users, with prior backup. Choose the tool according to your level and needs.

Frequently asked questions
Does my vehicle have an OBD2 port?
The OBD2 port is standard on petrol cars since 2001 and diesel since 2004, usually under the steering wheel. Check its presence and location before ordering an interface.
What can an OBD2 interface read?
It reads motor fault codes, allows them to be cleared after repair, and displays real-time data (RPM, temperature, consumption). Advanced functions depend on the app used.
Is ECU remapping risky?
Remapping modifies the motor mapping: if done incorrectly, it can damage the mechanics or invalidate the warranty. Reserve it for experienced users, with a backup of the original mapping.
