SB2040 V3 tool head card for Voron Klipper
On a Voron 3D printer, the tool head concentrates the motor, probes, and sensors — along with as many cables. The FLY SB2040 V3 card consolidates everything onto a compact PCB connected via CANbus, for clean and reliable wiring of the head.

Product details
In use, this card radically simplifies the wiring of the print head. Designed for the Stealthburner toolhead of the Voron 2.4 and Trident, it mounts as close as possible to the nozzle and consolidates on a single PCB everything that is located there: a single cable (CANbus, RS232 or USB) connects it to the main board, instead of a bundle that drags along in the cable chain. It features a motor driver for the extruder (TMC2209 or TMC2240 depending on version) and a LIS2DW accelerometer for input shaping (resonance compensation), directly at the source. It supports NTC thermistors (4.7 K) as well as PT1000 probes (switchable), with MAX31865 support for PT100/PT1000. Its connectors handle up to 15 A, and configuration is done without soldering. It operates under Klipper (and RRF). Important: the version for the SB2040 and the choice of the bridge card (UTOC/UTOR) depend on your setup — for many, USB via FLY-UTOC-1 is sufficient. Time for a cleanly wired Voron head, provided you choose the appropriate version.
Compatibility and uses
This FLY SB2040 V3 card is a toolhead board for the Stealthburner of Voron 2.4 and Trident 3D printers, running Klipper (and RepRapFirmware). It connects to the main board and to the computer (Raspberry Pi or other Linux-based system) via CANbus, RS232, or USB. It features an integrated extruder driver (TMC2209/TMC2240), LIS2DW accelerometer, NTC thermistor support (4.7 K) and PT1000 (1 K, switchable), MAX31865 (PT100/PT1000), connectors up to 15 A. Select your version according to your setup: the SB2040 card (SB, Plus, Pro, Max V3, with or without EDDY sensor) and, if needed, the CAN bridge card (UTOC/UTOR, DFD/EFD). For many installations, USB via a FLY-UTOC-1 is sufficient. Reserved for advanced users. (Tip: do not enable HDMI, as it is a source of errors.)

Usage advice
The team's advice: for most setups, the SB2040 via USB using a FLY-UTOC-1 is sufficient; do not enable HDMI, as it is a source of errors.
