Product details

  • In use, this access point extends WiFi where the router no longer reaches. Dual-band AC1200 (802.11ac), it combines a 2.4 GHz band (up to 300 Mbps) that penetrates walls and obstacles to reach far, and a 5 GHz band (up to 867 Mbps) that is faster and less congested, for streaming, video calls, or surveillance cameras. Its high transmission power (500 mW, 27 dBm) and two external 5 dBi antennas push the signal far outdoors: mounted on a pole, wall, or roof, it covers a large area, and multiple units extend coverage across a large property. Designed for outdoor use, its case is waterproof and dustproof (IP66) and withstands rain and dust. It is powered by passive PoE (24 V): a single Ethernet cable (up to 100 m) provides both power and data, without needing a nearby outlet.

    Compatibility and uses

This outdoor AC1200 WiFi access point (model CF-AC100) is dual-band: 2.4 GHz (up to 300 Mbps) and 5 GHz (up to 867 Mbps), 802.11ac standard. It is an access point, not a router or modem: it connects to an existing network (box, router, switch). It is powered by passive PoE 24 V via a single cable up to 100 m; provide a compatible PoE injector. Its WAN/LAN port is 10/100 Mbps (Fast Ethernet): the wired speed is therefore limited to 100 Mbps, even though the WiFi is AC1200. Transmit power 500 mW (27 dBm), two external 5 dBi antennas, IP66 waterproof case, mast, wall or roof mounting. CE certified. EU, US, UK or AU plug adapter.
