Flexible magnetic PEI powder-coated build plate for 3D printer

Prying off a part with a spatula risks damaging it. This magnetic spring steel plate coated with powdered PEI can be removed and bent: the print detaches on its own, without any tool, on most 3D printers.

Product details

  • In use, this build plate changes the 3D printing routine. It is a spring steel sheet, coated with textured powder-coated PEI, which sits on a magnetic base adhered to the heated bed. When hot, the PEI grips the part well during printing; once cooled, simply remove the sheet and bend it slightly so the print detaches on its own—no more spatula and no more stress from removal. The PEI withstands the numerous heating cycles of a print bed and wears slowly, and its powder-coated side provides a pleasant matte underside. It is one of the most versatile coatings: it adheres to PLA, PETG, ABS, and many other filaments, without glue or lacquer in most cases. Available in many sizes (from 120 to 310 mm), including dedicated formats for Bambu Lab (184 and 257 mm), and it can even be cut to the desired dimensions.

    Compatibility and uses

This flexible magnetic build plate is compatible with most FDM 3D printers: Creality Ender 3 / 3 Pro / 3 V2 / 3S / 5 / 5 Pro, CR-10 / CR-20, Anycubic Kobra, Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro / 4, and others, as well as Bambu Lab (formats 184 and 257 mm). Choose the size that matches your build plate (120, 150, 180, 184 Bambu, 220, 235, 257 Bambu, or 310 mm); it can also be cut to the desired dimensions. The PEI surface adheres to PLA, PETG, ABS, and most common filaments. The magnetic base is suitable for standard bed temperatures; technical filaments requiring very high bed temperatures (such as PEEK) are not compatible with a magnetic build plate. Sold with or without the base depending on the version.

    Usage advice

The team's advice: measure your chainring before ordering, and wait for complete cooling before bending the sheet.
